The study intends to demonstrate the comparisons between energy efficiency of electric vehicles and combustion car, aided by the authors Faller and Junior (2019). There are also aspects that correspond to the environmental and financial impacts that both produce, in order to seek the best rational use of energy. The study extends the advantages and disadvantages of replacing combustion cars and the challenges yet to be faced in Brazil for the implementation of electric vehicles, based on the authors Castro and Consoni (2020). The economic feasibility analysis presents a current possibility of replacing conventional vehicles with electric models as a consequence of the high cost of purchasing electric vehicles. Regarding the environmental issue, car users may face instability, with regard to the environmental impacts caused by transportation. In this way, this study can contribute to mitigate some problems, as transportation is a relevant sector in terms of final energy consumption. The adoption of vehicular energy efficiency policies is essential to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
