Introduction: The second and third most common types of cancer in the female population in Brazil are breast cancer (BC) and cervical cancer (CC), respectively. Despite the high morbidity and mortality rates for BC and CC in Minas Gerais, it is observed that there are few studies on organized screening in this region. Objective: To investigate the screening of uterine and breast cancer in the municipality of Presidente Kubitscheck, to assess the coverage of the female population and the prevalence of these neoplasms. Methodology: Collection through home visits and analysis of medical records. 477 women (69.1% of women in the municipality) registered in the Family Health Strategy in 2017. Results: 13 were at high risk for breast cancer. In 25 there was a need to perform mammography within the periodicity (age range) and 141 had an indication for immediate performance. 285 women between 25 and 64 years old, 87 reported having performed the first two Pap smears of the uterine colon with an interval of one year. Immediate need for this examination in 297 women. No cases of breast and uterine cancer were detected. Conclusion: The coverage of non-municipal mammographic screening is close to recommended, and a Pap smear is below recommended.
