Introduction: Dentistry students live with stressful stimuli in their daily clinical routine, which deserve better understanding. Objective: Understand the meanings attributed to clinical activities by dentistry graduates. Methodology: This is a clinical-qualitative study carried out at a higher education institution, a project linked to the PIBIC program. 26 interviews were conducted via a digital tool, and the answers were submitted to clinical-qualitative analysis. Results: Two categories were found: a) Anxiety and satisfaction generated by the clinical routine; b) Skills development. For undergraduates, despite the challenges, the training process in the integrated clinic is relevant for improving skills. Conclusion: Understanding students' feelings will allow teachers to consider the subjective elements contained in the clinical context, which are the founders of a more welcoming, dialogical and autonomous practice.
