Introduction: This study analyzes the potential of Neem (Azadirachta indica) in the control of agricultural pathogens, highlighting its relevance to sustainable agriculture. Objective: To review the literature on the mechanisms of action, efficacy, and environmental impacts of Neem, considering its application as an alternative to synthetic pesticides. Methodology: An integrative literature review was conducted, selecting scientific articles published between 2015 and 2024 in databases such as SciELO, LILACS, and CAPES Periodicals. Results: It was evidenced that the bioactive compounds of Neem, such as azadirachtin, have insecticidal, antifungal, and antimicrobial effects, interfering with the feeding and reproduction of pests and reducing the growth of phytopathogens. However, environmental impacts were also identified, such as allelopathic effects on native species and risks to pollinators. Conclusion: The Nim shows great potential as a natural biopesticide, making careful management essential to maximize its benefits and minimize negative impacts on biodiversity and the environment.
