Author Guidelines

Articles must meet the journal's editorial objectives and fall into one of the following categories: legal article, in the current or special edition, or book review.

The limit of authors per article is three, to avoid ghost authorship or co-authorship. Exceptions must be duly justified. Significant contributions from all authors must be ensured, in accordance with the CNPq Guidelines (items 17 and 18, 2012) and the CRediT Taxonomy.

Texts must follow ABNT standards (NBR 10520 for citations and NBR 6023/2018 for references), in addition to the template provided by the Journal.

Articles must contain: title in Portuguese and English, abstract, keywords, introduction, development, conclusion/final considerations, and references (only those actually used in the work).

The journal accepts submissions on a rolling basis, in Portuguese or a foreign language, and the works will be published in future editions at the discretion of the Editorial Board.

Selected works will not generate any rights for their authors, who will not be remunerated. Submission of the original manuscript implies authorization for publication.

Authors of submitted works must indicate their agreement with the Creative Commons "Copyright Statement" found in Step 1 of the Submission process.

Texts will be automatically rejected if they do not comply with the formatting requirements below.

The article must be a minimum of twelve pages and a maximum of twenty-five. The review must be a maximum of five pages and include the complete reference of the work analyzed at the beginning of the work.

The file containing the work cannot exceed 3 MB.

The text must be typed in Times font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing. Margins should be 3 cm at the top and left, and 2 cm at the bottom and right.

The first page of the article should contain the title and subtitle of the work in size 12 font, centered and in uppercase.

The abstract precedes the text and should be written in a single paragraph, without indentation, in size 12 font with single spacing, containing up to 250 words. The keywords come immediately below the abstract, preceded by the expression Keywords, containing 3 terms representative of the content of the work.

Authors should consult the USP Controlled Vocabulary at URL: 143.107.73.99/Vocab/SIBIX652.dll/Indexa in order to choose the keywords that best translate the theme of the proposed article.

The Abstract comes after the summary and should be preceded by the title in English and followed by the Keywords.

In long quotations and footnotes, the font should be 10 and the spacing single (1.0), according to NBR 10520/2002 - ABNT.

The titles of primary sections should appear in uppercase and bold, and those of secondary sections in bold with only the initial letter capitalized.
