This research aims to build a historical and contemporary persecution related to Parental Alienation. Brazilian legal provisions that deal with the theme will be observed, thus highlighting the possible problems that may arise with the practice. The discussion of the Gardner Model related to Intervention Dynamics and cases of domestic violence involving the Maria da Penha Law is of paramount importance. The importance of judicial assistants in cases of identification of Parental Alienation and Parental Alienation Syndrome will also be discussed. It will deal with the historical context of the PA Law, Law 12.318/10, and the possibility of its repeal by Bill 498/18, prepared by Senator Leila Barros.
