Dialogue between the European Court and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights

The defense and promotion of human rights is carried out at the international level by a network of institutions created for these purposes, such as, the bodies of the inter-American system and those of the European system for the protection of human rights, each with its own origin. , history, set of rules and mechanisms, which includes an autonomous, independent judicial function, with contentious and advisory competence. In this context, human rights have universality, indivisibility, interdependence and interrelation as characteristics, attributes that can be verified through the analysis of the dialogue between the American and European Courts of Human Rights in their jurisprudence and customs, referring to the same final purpose of guaranteeing and implementing human rights.
